In 2005 I moved out to Colorado for Culinary School. While in school, I began working at Carrabba's Italian Grill where I met my husband. Gradually my career moved from feeding rich fat men, rich fat food to helping improve health. I got two more degrees one in nutrition and one in nursing. Currently I am working as an intensive care nurse and my husband has continued to work as a bartender. While, these careers do not make us wealthy the jobs do allow for the flexibility we need to travel.
I have a low level understanding of French and my husband is near fluent in Spanish which allows us more comfort in traveling, but we have found that most countries the people are fluent in more than one language making travel possible even in areas where we don't speak the language.
